Hope For 2022

2022! Sixteen-year-old me is screaming, “God, you’re old!” (ha ha), but the current me is pretty darn happy. 

I know I haven’t posted in a while, but did you really think I was going to let the first day of the new year go by without wishing everyone a happy, healthy new year full of love, laughter, and growth? No way! 

Many of you have asked, “What are you currently working on?” Others want to know how things are going with my first two manuscripts. Everyone asks, “What’s the daily schedule and life of a writer like?” I promise, I’m going to answer all of these questions and more in my next few blog posts. I assure you, in 2022, I’ll do much better at keeping you up to date and staying in touch. 

But today, I want to talk about something else. A couple days ago, I saw one of those “the first 4 words you see” (word search) posts on a friend’s Facebook account (Meta, as Zuckerberg rebranded it, though the app still says Facebook… I won’t go there). Normally, I’d scroll right past this type of post (words jump out at me and I tend to see 8-10 words at first glance). But this time, I encountered my 1st actual hunt! 

In wishing everyone a happy new year, I want to share how I hope those 4 words fill 2022:

DO- with kindness, compassion, care, love, gratitude, and respect

(experience)

BREAKTHROUGH- peace (internal & external), giving you the ability to do anything you imagine & go wherever you want to go

(then)

MIRACLES- happen all around you, as your peace, kindness, compassion, care, love, gratitude, and respect spread to those you encounter

(now)

CONNECTION- people unite in peace, kindness, compassion, care, love, gratitude, and respect (for one another, for all living things, and for our Mother Earth)
